Seeing the sad image of a man clutching his dead child, crying in agony as the city was destroyed by raging waters. Aside from the homes and properties that were destroyed, the lives of countless innocent men, women, and children were washed away too! In the following images and videos, graphic scenes are shown so readers' discretion is advised.

As shown on the map posted at www.cdodev.com, the impact of the rising water is quite apparent. It is quite shocking to know that water rose beyond waist-level within minutes. People never had enough time to go to higher grounds before it was way too late for some.
